Ready to lead and build?
We’re looking for a seasoned tech-savvy problem solver who’s ready to take a step up. You’ll split your time between designing custom software solutions for our clients (think SQL, C#, and complex automation challenges) and leading a small team of engineers. If you’re passionate about both building software and helping people grow — we want to talk to you.
What you’ll do
- Lead from the front: Coach your team, guide delivery, and be the go-to person for project and people questions.
- Talk tech with clients: Understand needs, define scope, and translate business requirements into clear specs.
- Design and build solutions: Mainly SQL Server and C#. You don’t have to be a full-time coder, but you should be able to read/write when needed.
- Own delivery: From architecture to commissioning, you’ll make sure things get done — and done well.
- Grow the team: Set goals, mentor juniors, and collaborate with your manager on hiring and development.
Note: Our clients are in the meat processing industry, so the environment may not be for everyone.
On-site & in-office expectations
- Weekly client site visits are part of the job (industrial environments).
- We also value team presence — ideally you’re in the office weekly or biweekly to connect and collaborate.
- That’s why we prefer candidates from the Rotterdam area or willing to commute regularly to Poortugaal.
What you bring
- Experience as a Senior Software Developer, Product Owner, Technical Consultant, or Team Lead.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing and production processes (bonus if it’s in food, pharma, or similar sectors).
- Fluent in Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL; C# or VB.NET knowledge is a plus.
- Strong communication skills — both internally and with clients.
- A drive to improve, automate, and deliver better every time.
