Job Requirements (Skill Sets)
- Hands-on experience in Industrial Automation.
- Knowledge of PLC systems such as Rockwell, Siemens, Mitsubishi, etc.
- Experience in designing and commissioning of HMI and SCADA systems.
- Basic knowledge of OPC communication.
- Basic knowledge of SQL/Historian databases.
- Knowledge of communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet, etc.
- Ability to handle projects independently.
- Good customer handling skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute end-to-end automation and integration projects involving PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Develop, modify, and test PLC, HMI, and SCADA applications in alignment with project specifications and customer requirements.
- Configure SCADA systems for real-time monitoring, alarms, trending, and data logging, and integrate them with databases such as MS SQL, MySQL, or equivalent.
- Perform field installation, commissioning and site acceptance testing, ensuring smooth handover and system performance as per design.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to automation hardware, control software, and industrial communication networks.
- Work with various industrial communication protocols, including Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, and OPC (DA/UA/HAD).
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design documents, test reports, configuration logs, user manuals and project progress updates.
- Ensure adherence to QMS/QCMS processes, internal standards and regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support the preparation and execution of validation documents as required.
