Role summary<\/strong><\/h2>\n

We are seeking a Senior MES MOM Specialist<\/strong>\u00a0with experience in Ignition<\/strong> to design, develop, and implement SCADA and MES applications. In this role, you will work on the digitalization efforts of medium- and large-sized customers across various industries, including food & beverage, automotive, life sciences, and aerospace. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality MES\/MOM solutions tailored to optimize manufacturing processes and support production efficiency.<\/p>\n

This position combines expertise in software engineering, manufacturing operations, and customer engagement. While most of the development and testing activities take place off-site, you will occasionally travel to customer sites for deployment and implementation.<\/p>\n

Key responsibilities<\/strong><\/h2>\n

You will be responsible for developing, testing, installing and diagnosing on new or existing client systems.<\/p>\n

Ignition and Sepasoft Expertise:<\/strong><\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Develop SCADA and MES solutions using Ignition and Sepasoft modules.<\/li>\n
  • Configure and deploy workflows, production models, and reporting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Solution Design and Implementation:<\/strong><\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Collaborate with clients to design and customize SCADA\/MES solutions that align with their manufacturing processes.<\/li>\n
    • Develop dashboards, reports, and user interfaces using Ignition Perspective or Vision.<\/li>\n
    • Integrate MES systems with existing enterprise solutions, such as ERP, WMS, and other OT systems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      System Integration and Communication Protocols:<\/strong><\/h3>\n
        \n
      • Interface with PLCs, OPC servers, and industrial communication protocols (e.g., OPC UA, RS232, B2MML, XML).<\/li>\n
      • Ensure seamless communication between MES, SCADA, and shop floor devices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Database and Software Development:<\/strong><\/h3>\n
          \n
        • Configure and manage SQL databases for historical data, alarms, and reporting purposes.<\/li>\n
        • Develop scripts and automation routines using Python, Java, and other programming tools supported by Ignition.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Technical Documentation and Support:<\/strong><\/h3>\n
            \n
          • Produce comprehensive technical documentation for both internal teams and external clients.<\/li>\n
          • Provide troubleshooting and post-implementation support for deployed systems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            Travel:<\/strong><\/h3>\n
              \n
            • Occasionally travel to customer sites for deployment, commissioning, and training.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              Successful candidates will demonstrate the following skills:<\/p>\n

                \n
              • Bachelor\u2019s degree in Computer Science, Industrial Automation or related fields of study. <\/strong><\/li>\n
              • More than 7 year’s professional experience in SCADA and\/or MES\/MOM technical projects.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                Core Expertise:<\/strong><\/h3>\n
                  \n
                • Expertise in Ignition SCADA (Perspective, Vision, scripting, database connections) or other SCADA platforms.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                  Technical Skills:<\/strong><\/h3>\n
                    \n
                  • Strong knowledge of Python, Java, .NET, and REST APIs.<\/li>\n
                  • Expertise in SQL databases (MS SQL, Oracle) for MES\/SCADA integration.<\/li>\n
                  • Familiarity with industrial automation protocols (OPC UA, RS232, XML).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                    Industrial Automation Knowledge:<\/strong><\/h3>\n
                      \n
                    • Experience with PLCs (Siemens, Schneider, Rockwell).<\/li>\n
                    • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, workflows, and optimization techniques.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                      General Skills:<\/strong><\/h3>\n
                        \n
                      • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a logical approach to technical challenges.<\/li>\n
                      • Strong communication skills to interact with customers and multidisciplinary teams.<\/li>\n
                      • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                        Language and Travel:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

                        • English proficiency at a B2 level or higher.<\/li>\n
                        • Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site implementation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                          Preferred Qualifications:<\/strong><\/h3>\n
                            \n
                          • Experience in the food & beverage, automotive, life sciences, or aerospace industries.<\/li>\n
                          • Familiarity with other MOM platforms (e.g., Siemens Opcenter, Wonderware).<\/li>\n
                          • Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
